Description

Le Marche (pronounced “lay markey”), along with Tuscany and Umbria, make up the eastern side of central Italy, between the Adriatic Sea and the high Apennine mountains. It’s an area that people visit to see the “real” Italy.

My grandparents, Tony Rossi and Delia Toni are from Sassoferrato, a small town in Le Marche. I visit often as it is still home to many extended family members and friends.
